A modern photo shoot

This last weekend I headed over to the Walker art museum to snap a few photo's for my friend Laura. The location was amazing for clean simple back drops along with this girl not being able to take a bad picture, it made for a simple, enjoyable photo session. Thanks Laura, you rock!!

Happy Mother's day to all the mother's out there!
You are all unique in your motherhood journey, but all still amazing for everything that you are and will become.
"Mother" never has claimed to be an easy role to take on; it's rewarding, anxiety producing, all encompassing, world shifting, nerve fraying, and that is just in one day!
Somehow though, we all try to make it through. In the end, all we can do is learn to live in the moment, love, love, love our children with our whole hearts, whether they are here physically with us or not and know that a new day is the best day to begin the rest of our lives.

Cousins

A few weeks ago Jude's cousins came for a visit. I love seeing him forming close relationships with his relatives because I remember having such great memories with my own cousins. I know they all have such a great time together, it's too bad we don't all live a bit closer.

Belly to Baby

It was just a couple weeks ago that I photographed this family for their maternity shoot, and now baby has arrived! Even the kitty was in on some of the photography fun...

Welcome Rainbow baby Zoe!

Anyone who has lost a baby and tried for another knows the courage and strength it takes to continue on. Through the anxiety, the grief and uncertainty lies the hope that a healthy baby might actually be a reality.
